Abbie Jarvis began sewing at just six years old and making clothes by the age of nine. Fashion has always been her language, and from an early age she developed her own instinctive understanding of fabrics, colour and texture.

Having begun exploring fabrics long before her formal fashion education, Abbie developed her own approach to combining contrasting fabrics, colours and aesthetics — often bringing together elements that traditionally wouldn’t be expected to work. This instinctive clash of contrasts has become a defining part of her distinctive aesthetic.

Brand Story

Abbie's decision to launch her own brand came from a frustration with what she sees as the increasingly beige fashion landscape, and a conversation with her mum about the lack of stylish, colourful and high-quality fashion for women over 50.

The brand is being created as a go-to destination for women who want something more from fashion: vibrant, exciting and sophisticated clothes that celebrate individuality rather than encouraging women to blend in.

For Abbie, getting older shouldn’t mean becoming invisible. Her brand is for women who want to be seen, heard and unapologetically themselves.

The Founder

Tina Aileen is a London-based fashion designer and artist whose work sits between fashion, art and storytelling.

Originally trained in fashion and textiles in Hong Kong, Aileen went on to study Womenswear at Central Saint Martins and later completed an MA at the London College of Creative Art. Her creative practice has evolved from fashion design into a broader exploration of identity, emotion, craftsmanship and the relationship between what we wear and how we feel.

With a background in fashion design and an eye shaped by photography, Tina Aileen approaches clothing as more than something to be worn. Each piece is intended to create a feeling, provoke curiosity and reveal something about the person wearing it.

Brand Story

Tina Aileen began with a fascination with the possibilities of clothing: how a garment can transform not only how we look, but how we move, feel, and see ourselves.

The work is driven by curiosity rather than a strict formula. Instead of following conventional ideas of what fashion should be, she explores transformation and storytelling to create pieces that feel personal and unexpected.

What makes Tina Aileen distinctive is this meeting point between fashion and art. The garments are designed to be visually striking, but there is always an idea or narrative behind them. Elements of the work can be sculptural, playful, theatrical, or romantic, while still being designed with the wearer in mind.

The practice is ultimately about encouraging people to be curious about themselves - to experiment, play, and discover different sides of who they are through what they wear.

The Founder

Merytha Hazel is the founder and designer of Verra Saint, a contemporary fashion brand inspired by her Caribbean heritage and a lifelong love of creating clothes.

Merytha grew up on Montserrat, the Emerald Isle of the Caribbean, surrounded by creative family members who made things by hand. Her grandmother, who seemed able to make almost anything, was a particular inspiration and sparked Merytha’s own love of making from an early age.

Her passion for fashion developed further during her school years, when she studied textiles and created an outfit for a school fashion show. Seeing something she had designed come to life confirmed her desire to create clothing of her own.

Although the idea of starting a brand stayed with her for many years, it was only when she felt ready to take that leap that Verra Saint became a reality.

For Merytha, creating Verra Saint is about more than clothing. It is about finally pursuing a long-held creative ambition and encouraging others to believe that it is never too late to follow a dream.

Conscious design is central to the Verra Saint vision, with thoughtful choices around materials, production and waste. The brand uses certified sustainable and recycled fabrics where possible and works with responsible manufacturers.
