Every Bodacious Fashion Entrepreneur knows that it pays to keep ahead of the curve when it comes to retail trends and to build a UNIQUE brand that embodies their individual style.
If you enjoyed last weeks blog about the demi-couture business model, and you are still not sure about the best business model route for you, then you’ll definitely like this post. I’m about to give you another really EXCITING business model that I’m sure you’ll love.
Are you still procrastinating in indecision about which business model is best for you and making these mistakes:
Or perhaps you have already started your business but you:
If you don’t choose the right business model for your brand at the outset you could be experiencing the following:
If this is you, then getting clear on which business model to choose will get you off on the right foot to becoming a successful Bodacious Fashion Entrepreneur. There are about thirteen different business models to choose from in Fashion Entrepreneurs Academy but here, I’m going to introduce you to a really exciting new CONCEPT of selling that has so much potential and is already a proven concept in the US.
So, by the end of today you could be moving out of indecision and into ACTION to attract the right customers for your brand!!!
We’ve all seen plenty of food trucks around for the past thirty years but have you seen a FASHION TRUCK?!
Old trucks, trailers and vans are being transformed into trendy fashion boutiques and these chic BOUTIQUES-ON-WHEELS are popping up all over the U.S., fully outfitted with changing rooms, fridges, air-con, flat screen TV’s and the latest fashion trends.
Did you know that 90% of retail stores fail because of overheads? The biggest overhead is rent and a fashion truck is a great way to own your own physical store without the cost of a commercial lease.
Imagine all the fun you could have CUSTOMISING your very own truck or van in brand colours that embody your individual style.
There’s actually a growing community of van converters in the US, with so many You Tube videos and courses that teach you how to convert a van. Just google “how to convert a van”.
Imagine all the people you would meet, all the events you could host to attract your ideal customer and what FUN you could have with them at happy-hour parties, tea parties, fashion shows etc. in your van!
What exciting locations could your fashion truck pop up in? - a vintage fair, crafts fair, farmers market, music festival, Xmas market, city centre, hotel grounds, cool up and coming part of town, by the beach, at fashion week, shopping parties at peoples homes and street parties.
Imagine being able to pack up and move your store to a warmer, drier or more profitable location at the drop of a hat?
People love the originality of fashion trucks and some customers like the fact that you are going to them, rather than them going to a huge mall. Who wants to get stuck in traffic and waste half a day just to buy a top for dinner that weekend?
Imagine bringing another source of income so that you no longer have to rely solely on your on-line shop.…. And imagine having a space where local customers can come, have some fun and meet you.
All you have to do is let your audience know where and when you will be popping up near them and then turn up (Yes, you can play some ice cream van tunes if that tickles your fancy) and offer them great personalised service.
