3 Steps to Launch Your Fashion Brand in Just 3 Months for Less than 3 thousand smakeroos!

 

I’ve had lots of requests to repeat the three day training event Manifestation of the New-Age Fashion Entrepreneur”, so I have edited about 4 hours of content into this teeny micro training:

 

In “Manifestation of the New Age Fashion Entrepreneur” I talked about how a Fashion Launch Formula is the most effective way to start a fashion brand in the 2020’s and here I’m going to show you how:

 

The 3X Fashion Launch Formula consists of three key areas:   

 

STEP 1 MANIFEST

The first step to becoming a successful New-Age Fashion Entrepreneur that’s making a very good living doing what you love and living the best life for you and the planet, is MANIFEST: 

  1. Before you dive into making all those ground-breaking ideas that are jumping around in your brain you firstly need to develop the MIND of a fashion entrepreneur.    I have a unique methodology to help you do this which I'll talk more about at my next free event...  so for now just believe that you CAN do this!    
  2. Get clear on your VISION.
  3. Define your NICHE.
  4. Choose the type of BUSINESS MODEL that works best for you.   My students have lots to choose from  and you really need to consider all the many possibilities so that you don’t waste time and money going down the wrong path.
  5. Develop your unique BRANDING.
  6. Build an AUDIENCE of raving fan customers that can’t wait to buy your products!!

  

STEP 2 INNOVATE

  1. Now it’s time to start your DESIGN RESEARCH and mood boards.
  2. FABRIC SOURCING.     My students learn where to buy wholesale material so make sure you do this too.   It is not cost effective to buy retail.
  3. NOW you get to DESIGN your ground-breaking products!…. Enjoy!
  4. As soon as you have designs that you are happy with it’s time to sample these and make your prototypes followed by samples.  This is called PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.
  5. You will need to learn how to create a TECH PACK, or pay someone to do it for you, before handing your designs over.   A technical designer or sometimes your pattern maker can do this for you.
  6. MANUFACTURING usually, but not always, won’t take place until AFTER you have sold your products.

 

 STEP 3 LAUNCH

And last but not least your third and final step in launching your very own fashion brand is LAUNCH.   Yep….  It’s time to LAUNCH:

  1. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “If you fail to plan you plan to fail”….  And of course PLANNING your launch strategy is vitally important.   Never follow a strategy blindly without getting advice and looking at the intrinsic nature of YOUR particular business!  
  2. Then you’ll need to carefully EXECUTE that launch strategy.     There is no one size fits all method.   My students learn several ways to do this but it should always be tailored to each individual company.  
  3. Of course there’s no point planning an exciting launch if no-one knows about it!   I remember in the first year of my business I was soooo excited about my first full page press feature which described my brand as "Fashions' Best Kept Secret".    My father, who always knew how to keep my feet on the ground, said that  “Being Fashions’ Best Kept Secret is no good for a fashion business”!!!...  And he was right.    You don't want your brand to be secret!!!   So use some well planned tactics to PROMOTE your product launch and give it the buzz your products deserve, so that EVERYONE hears about your brand!
  4. There are lots of reasons why products don’t sell and one of them is not pricing correctly.   This can sometimes get a little complex but is essential to SELLING.   Business is commerce therefore learning some selling techniques is vital if you are to make any profit.
  5. As soon as you start selling consistently you don’t want to wait too long before planning to SCALE your business.
  6. You will need to hire a TEAM to help you grow faster, sell more products and make more profit.  This is when you achieve TIME FREEDOM!!

 

It's vital that you don't miss out any steps because as you can see above Steps 1 (Manifest) and 2 (Innovate) create a strong IDENTITY for your brand.    With these two steps combined you have a clear business model, understand your growing audience and can create a unique marketable product.   However if you miss out step 3 (Launch) your business will lack STRUCTURE,  you'll have no strategy to sell anything and will not achieve many SALES.

 

If you follow only steps 2 (Innovate) and 3 (Launch) you have a unique product, can successfully launch and promote your brand to achieve SALES.    However as you've missed step 1 your business has no STRUCTURE or clear IDENTITY and your customers are very confused.    A confused customer never buys therefore you don't want to miss any elements in step 1.

 

Step 3 (Launch) and 1 (Manifest) combined will help you achieve a clear business model, a growing audience and plenty of launch strategies to give STRUCTURE to your business.  However if you don't follow step 2 properly you won't know how to develop or manufacture a unique desirable product , your brand lacks any IDENTITY and you can't make any SALES.

 

These, of course, are very tiny snippets from the three day event and to launch your brand you'll need much more in depth guidance so you don't waste time and money going in the wrong direction or making costly mistakes.
